The ICARE Post-Baccalaureate Fellowship Program is committed to providing compelling research experiences and creative educational activities to enhance the biomedical workforce. A top priority of ICARE is to implement robust research experiences and advanced coursework to transform less competitive post-baccalaureate students to highly competitive applications for admission into researched-focused cancer-related doctoral degree programs. The ICARE program has a diverse spectrum of program faculty to provide robust research experiences to trainees, and on completion of ICARE, our scholars will understand the culture of the biomedical research enterprise, and have skill sets to handle the challenges of pursing a doctoral degree in a research-intensive environment.
