Research topic: Single cell RNA-seq effects of ototoxic drug in cells from the inner ear

Background: I was born in Tucson, Arizona, and grew up in the Phoenix-metro area as well as Iowa City.

I developed an interest in medicine through watching my friends and family spend so much time in and out of the hospital. The summer I spent at Iowa as part of the BSURP program solidified my interest in cancer research after working in Dr. Dupuy's lab.

I'd like to be in M.D./Ph.D. Program in the future and see myself having a good background for being a physician scientist.

In my free time, I like to hike and performatively drink tea while reading.
